The most likely cities for a lunch time hook up
It’s no secret that Brits love sex, and you may have found yourself wondering about what time of day you, or others tend to do the deed.
But while evenings and weekends are the most common times of the week to hook up, our research1 has revealed that surprising numbers of people are fitting it in whenever they can, including before work and even on their lunch break.
Nearly one in five (18%) said that they were having sex between the hours of 11am and 2pm during the week, with 46% choosing Monday to get lucky over lunch. Perhaps they’re looking for a way to cheer up their Monday after the Sunday blues!
Bristolians were revealed to be having the most sex over lunch, with a whopping 30% saying they had made love at lunchtime. On the other hand, Norwich residents were the least likely, with just over one in ten (13%) confessing to a midday encounter.

Those working in media/PR/marketing were the most likely to have a romantic experience over lunchtime, with Monday being the most popular day (21%). Meanwhile, civil servants (3%) and accountants (3%) were the least likely to have lunchtime action.
Morning sex also proved to be popular during the week. The figures suggest that most Brits like to start the week with some passion, with 14% saying that they had sex before work on Monday, between the hours of 3am and 9am.
Leeds residents led the way in this category, with nearly a fifth (18%) spicing up their Monday morning. On the flip side, only 4% of those in Belfast could claim to be so lucky.
