Luminox watches began their life in America in 1989, later evolving into a global watch brand. When the founder of Luminox watches, Barry Cohen, stumbled across a need in the watch industry, a need for making watches more visible and readable in low light situations, he created a new exciting brand which incorporated in to his watches a unique Swiss self-powered illumination system, known today as Luminox Light Technology.
Today Luminox watches consist of a variety of styles and colours which are entirely Swiss made. Luminox watches feature classic military style design with markers and hands which are embedded with a tiny permanently luminous Tritium powered glass tube that glows constantly, making Luminox watches extremely easy to read in any compelling circumstances.
Luminox watches are manufactured to an extremely high quality grade, with some Luminox watches expressing a military or dive watch design. Unlike other watch brands, Luminox watches understand the importance of an individual’s timepiece being used as an essential key piece of kit, which must be built to withstand extreme conditions, making Luminox watches a necessity whatever the condition.
